Does unplugging appliances save electricity?

Unplugging appliances does save electricity. This is because appliances still draw power even when they are turned off, as long as they are plugged in. That said, you likely won't wish to unplug appliances like microwave ovens, ranges or washing machines when they aren't in use due to the inconvenience of plugging them in each time.

2. Basic Installation: The delivery and installation teams are NOT authorized to perform any modifications to your home, such as carpentry, plumbing, gas or electrical work. 4. Complex Installation: Two appointments will be required for complex installations – one for Delivery and one for Installation. When possible, delivery and installation appointments will be made same day, but is subject to installer availability. Haul away will be provided by installation contractor (not the delivery provider).
